Justin Younker and Doug Ellison, founders of Cascadia Senior Living, have announced that Cascadia Pointe will be built adjacent to their Fieldstone Community in the Kitsap Mall District of Silverdale.
Delivery is projected for the second quarter of 2024.
The first phase will be a series of highly visible retail buildings across from The Trails at Silverdale — the premier open-air center on the Kitsap Peninsula. In addition to a Starbucks and an Indigo Urgent Care, Cascadia Pointe will be home to the first Dave’s Hot Chicken in Washington state.
Steve Ruggiero, president of First American Properties, who is handling the leasing, said: “Not only are we bringing established brand names to the greater Kitsap marketplace, we also have the ability to accommodate a badly needed hotel or campus development. The property checks a lot of boxes for users including convenience, accessibility, views and surrounding amenities.”
Cascadia Pointe will stretch from Clear Creek Road to the soon-to-be-constructed Bella Vista Avenue NW, the long-awaited North/South connector road that will access the over 1,050 adjacent residences either open or under construction.
Cascadia Point will serve the over 5,250 residential units planned or under construction between Bremerton and Poulsbo. The housing growth is fueled in part by the Navy investing $3.2 billion in nearby Naval infrastructure facilities with work underway and a mandate to spend it before 2029. Employment across the bases exceeds 38,000 military and civilian personnel.
