LOCAL FLORIST ACHIEVES SUCCESS

Jeanne Maier of Poulsbo successfully completed the Advanced Floral Design study program at the Floral Design Institute of Seattle and is now certified in advanced floral design.

To achieve this honor, Jeanne has participated in an intensive program studying current trends, design influences and business practices in the floral industry.

Certification requires an advanced understanding and professional application of the eleven design elements and principles: form, space, texture, line, color, accent, scale, harmony, rhythm, unity and balance.

Maier has turned her goal of providing contemporary, stylish, and long-lasting floral arrangements for special customers into a reality.

She is known for the personal service, meticulous attention to detail and creative floral designs she provides for her clients.

Whether designing flowers for your wedding, a corporate event, or a simple bouquet for a friend, Maier is certified to do it with advanced skill and style.

Currently, she serves as a consultant at Bonnie’s Flower Market at the corner of Hostmark and Highway 305.
