Open house today

The Kitsap Fencing Center, 2505 Mile Hill Drive, Suite B-102, will host an open house on Friday, Dec. 20, from 3:30-6:30 p.m. The center is located next to Orchard Thai.

‘Don’t Panic Monday’ is set for Dec. 23

Downtown merchants are planning to stay open from 10 a.m. until on Monday, Dec. 23 as part of the Port Orchard Bay Street Association’s “Don’t Panic Monday.”

Until 7 p.m., individuals who bring their shopping receipt from a downtown business, will receive free gift wrapping at the Port Orchard Library.

Chamber luncheon is Jan. 9

The Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the McCormick Woods Golf Course.

The luncheon speaker is A. Sapir Bolich, a community and youth preparedness educator at American Red Cross. She will discuss emergency preparedness for homes and businesses.

The golf course is located at 5155 McCormick Woods Drive SW.

Worthley speaking at Chamber luncheon

The Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon is set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at the McCormick Woods Golf Course, 5155 McCormick Woods Drive SW.

Brad Worthley, of Brad Worthley International in Bellevue, will speak on “Exceeding Customer Expectations.”

Worthley is an internationally acclaimed expert in customer service, leadership and motivation, and he is invited to travel throughout the world speaking on those subjects. He has owned a business consulting firm in Bellevue for the 22 years, written three books, and produced numerous training DVDs and CDs
