Learn to smoke like a professional

TaTu Barbecue is hosting a three-hour, World Famous Smoking BBQ School from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 18 at 26343 Bond Road NE, behind the giraffe across from the Hood Canal Brewery. On the agenda: BBQ history, about woods and smoke, cuts of meat, rubs, sauces, recipes, food safety and much more. The cost is $55 and all the proceeds go to benefit the Fisher Houses.
