Ribbon cut at new community center on Bangor
Forest City Military Communities, LLC and Navy Region Northwest cut the ribbon on a 4,400-square-foot community center at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor’s family housing community last month. Ground was broken for the center in 2009 and it will serve as the cornerstone for on-base housing. The project is part of the ongoing privatization partnership the Navy has undertaken to update its on-base family housing and amenities.
