BREMERTON — Comfort Keepers, a licensed, in-home care agency located at 3256 Chico Way, has been named an Aon Hewitt Best Employer.

Aon Hewitt is a global human resources company that conducts Best Employers studies. Based on a survey of employees, Aon Hewitt rates its Best Employers based on effective leadership, high-performance orientation, brand, employee engagement, and why the company is different in its field.

Aon Hewitt’s database contains the opinions of almost 9 million employees from more than 5,000 organizations around the world, collected over a period of five years.

Jim and Pam Woolford have owned and operated the local Comfort Keepers franchise since 2002. Comfort Keepers provides hourly, daily, or weekly in-home care services, with services tailored to each individual’s needs. Packages include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, incidental transportation, laundry, and recreational activities. All Comfort Keepers caregivers are employees and undergo criminal, driving, and credit background checks.

The Woolfords received the Comfort Keepers President’s Club award in November; the award is presented during the company’s national leadership conference to the top 25 franchises that generated the highest revenue in the previous year
