POULSBO — Gravitec Systems, Inc., a leading provider of fall protection and rescue services, opened its new offices and training campus today at the former home of The Zone sportsplex. Gravitec moved its facilities from Bainbridge Island to a 52,000-square foot building, located at 21291 Urdahl Road NW, Poulsbo. The Poulsbo campus will house Gravitec corporate offices, indoor training campus, three large classrooms and state-of-the art testing facility.
The design of the new facility will represent the passion and dedication that Gravitec has for protecting workers at height around the globe. “We want people to walk through the doors at Gravitec and immediately see that they’re going to enjoy a unique, innovative, and hands-on training experience unlike any other,” General Manager David Lough said.
An expansive training area, which is outfitted with climbing towers, mock nacelles, shipping containers, and other climbing structures to simulate on-the-job responsibilities, takes up about half the floor space of the building. Along with three sophisticated classrooms, students will be afforded the opportunity to practice life-saving fall protection and rescue techniques first-hand.
In addition to training and engineering services, Gravitec is a designated ISO 17025-accredited third-party testing laboratory. Here, qualified testing engineers configure state-of-the-art test equipment for qualification and verification testing of fall protection products to ensure compliance with Z359.7 standards — yet another element which sets Gravitec aside from its competitors in the industry.
The dedication that Gravitec has to continuous growth has enables them to set new standards in the industry. Not only expanding the physical square-footage of their corporate headquarters, but their ability and commitment to provide the most innovative fall protection and rescue solutions to their clients and students.
