Beginning on Earth Day, April 22, Kitsap Bank will kick off a “Go Green” campaign throughout the organization.

There will be education and tips for employees and customers about ways in which we can all “go green” through reuse, recycling and reduction. A particular emphasis is being placed on paper reduction.

Customers are encouraged go paperless with online banking and bill payment services, as well as eStatements; an easy and impactful way that we can all reduce our carbon footprint and help the environment. It will provide a simpler way for consumers to manage their finances.

Kitsap Bank is also kicking-off a Paper Reduction Contest beginning on Earth Day. Employees bank-wide are being challenged to decrease their paper usage.

While the contest kicks off during Earth Week, it will be part of an ongoing effort to change the way we use paper in the organization.
