PORT ORCHARD — Kitsap Bank launched an all-branches “Go Green” campaign on Earth Day, April 22.
The campaign provides education and tips for employees and customers about ways to “go green” through reuse, recycling and reduction.
Customers are being encouraged go paperless with online banking and bill payment services, as well as eStatements.
Employees bank-wide are being challenged to decrease their paper usage in a Paper Reduction Contest. The bank hopes the effort will continue beyond the contest.
“Kitsap Bank believes strongly in doing our part to sustain the fabric of our community,” said Anthony George, president and chief operating officer. “We invite others to join us in this effort. Together we can make a difference.”
Established Aug. 8, 1908, Kitsap Bank is headquartered in Port Orchard and operates 21 locations throughout Western Washington.
