POULSBO — Kitsap Printing has undergone some changes since it was purchased by Reprospace LLC in May 2013 from Sarah and Billy Runnels.
Kitsap Printing, founded in 1982, prints promotional, transactional and published products. Since its acquisition last year, the business has invested in new equipment and new personnel to increase its technological capabilities as well its employee knowledge-base and skill set.
In May, Kitsap Printing purchased a new 18-foot-long full-color printing press, which includes a completely automated in-line perfect binding machine for paperback book production up to 600 pages and 1 1/2 inches thickness. Books and other printed pieces are on display in the front office and on www.KitsapPublishing.com. Kitsap Printing also makes saddle-stitched booklets up to 300 pages and other print products.
In July, Kitsap Printing added a project manager, Lian Snowden. Snowden has years of experience in the printing industry, both digital and offset. She is responsible for estimates and order requests, quality control and ensuring all client projects are on schedule.
