TaTu BBQ off to Germany again
TaTu BBQ LLC is beginning its second trip to Germany Dec. 10, to barbecue for our wounded soldiers in Landstuhl, Germany. This trip, supported by the Fisher Houses, American Legion and the USO will include a traditional Texas style BBQ, feeding the wounded soldiers, their families, spouses, and hospital staff. The total served is estimated to be around 200 people.
Businesses sponsoring food drive
On Dec. 12, Lyons Painting & Design and Hill Moving Services are sponsoring a food drive at Albertsons in Poulsbo Village from 2 to 6 p.m. For every six canned or boxed items donated you will receive a free chance to have your living room walls professionally painted. Drawing for the painting will be done that evening and you do not have to be present to win. Please come and help support our local food-bank and businesses.
