NORTH END PRINTER EXPANDS SERVICES

Olympic Printer Resources Inc. remanufactures laser toner cartridges from their facility in the Arbor Business Park off Bond Road between Kingston and Poulsbo. It has commenced producing cartridges for the newer low cost Brother (HL-2140/2170W and MFC 7440N/7840W) and Hewlett Packard Laser (P1006/P1505/M1522nf) printers.

“We can save you over $21 on the Brother TN360 toner cartridge and $24 on the DR360 drum unit compared to the “big box” office supply stores,” Company Production Manager Kevin Brown stated.

For 16 years Olympic Printer Resources locally remanufactured toner cartridges for most of the Hewlett Packard, Canon, and Brother printers, fax and small copiers.

No other company produces as many toner cartridges here in Kitsap County as we do, said Company President Jeff Peterson.

“Compare the carbon footprint of our cartridges versus the products remanufactured overseas and sold in the discount stores or on the internet,” he said. “We are very proud that Olympic Printer Resources Inc. was selected for a 2008 Kitsap County Earth Day Award in Environmental Leadership for our efforts in recycling and waste prevention.”

KCU GIVES FOOD BANKS A BOOST

Economic conditions are straining many local social services agencies, including the local area food banks who are serving up to 40 percent more families than this time last year. In recognition of the need, Kitsap Credit Union launched a member referral campaign with a Win, Win, Win approach, resulting in a donation to local food banks in the amount of $14,484.

Existing members shared $100 with family, friends, and the food banks for referring qualifying accounts. Kitsap Credit Union members connected with this socially conscious campaign by referring more than 400 new accounts during the months of September and October.

Food banks benefitting from the Win, Win, Win campaign are located in Kitsap, Mason, and Northwestern Pierce Counties.

FEDEX SHIPPING CENTER OPENS IN POULSBO

Poulsbo’s Sound Reprographics has just become Bainbridge Island’s only authorized FedEx shipping center. Located conveniently in the State Highway 305 Plaza, Sound Reprographics now offers complete packaging and shipping services. Customers can purchase boxes, envelopes, packaging tape and additional shipping supply at the location, or elect to have Sound Reprographics’ staff prepare their packages for shipping.

Customers can also drop off their ready-to-ship packages quickly, including return packages.

Joe Cardosi and Rick Huggins, owners of Sound Reprographics, said they are thrilled to provide the Poulsbo community with this much needed service.

“Now people have a place to bring their packages that won’t fit in the drop boxes,” Cardosi said.

FedEx pickup time will Monday through Friday at about 3 p.m.

Customers are encouraged to plan accordingly if they choose to have their packages wrapped at the store prior to shipping.
