Interior Redesigners Roberta Anderson, Owner of Silverdale’s Anderson Homes Redesigned and Sandi Gregory, owner of Puyallup based details (Redesign & Staging), will be offering a hands on one-day workshop, Decorate Fabulously on Nov. 1.

Attendees learn how to draw up a floor plan, choose colors fearlessly, plan a furniture arrangement, and more learning decorating tips and tricks along the way.

The workshop goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Gig Harbor area. Cost is $310 per person. Price includes a Decorating Assistant with Designer Carry Bag and magnetic surface and furniture pieces. Snacks, beverages and a box lunch are also included. KCU names IT manager

Kitsap Credit Union recently named Jay Bell as the new Information Technology manager. Bell will ensure the efficient operation of the Information Technology department while implementing innovate policies, procedures and best practices.

Bell will also be responsible for establishing strategic direction and driving and enhancing technology as the organization grows.

Bell graduated from the University of Washington and started working in IT as a side job while going to college to be an engineer. Bell has held various IT positions of graduating responsibility over a ten year career in Information Technology.

1st Security promotes Stenman

Poulsbo’s 1st Security Bank recently named Brent Stenman Senior Vice President and Branch Manager. Stenman brings more than 19 years of experience in financial services and community involvement to 1st Security’s new Poulsbo office located in College Place.

A Poulsbo native, Stenman began his banking career with Seafirst Bank in Seattle. He spent the majority of his banking career with North Sound Bank/Frontier Bank in Poulsbo. In 2004, Stenman became Senior Vice President of Westsound Bank in Bremerton before making the move to 1st Security Bank.

Stenman is a long time board member of North Kitsap Babe Ruth Baseball as well as the Assistant State Commissioner for Babe Ruth Baseball.

Stenman is also a member of the Poulsbo-North Kitsap Rotary and the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce where he previously served on the Board. In 2001-2002 Stenman was named the Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce Person of the Year.

He is a 1983 graduate of North Kitsap High, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Seattle University and a master’s equivalent degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
