For the second year running, Peninsula Credit Union has surpassed their donation goal for Credit Unions for Kids and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

They then were matched by Co-op Shared Branch, Digital Benefits, the Kitsap chapter of the NWCUA and other vendors to almost double their $7,000 mark of last year to raise more than $13,000.

PCU staff worked throughout the year with various fund-raising efforts including jeans days, football contests and other activities.

They were also invited to participate in the 2013 Miracle Season program broadcasted live on KOMO Channel 4 on Dec. 8.
