POULSBO — Personal Touch Home Care has purchased a wheelchair-accessible van.

The van can hold four people, two wheelchairs, and two ambulatory persons.

Personal Touch provides transportation services and companionship services.  It transports to and from doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions; medical testing and procedures; hairdresser and barber appointments; visits with family and friends; religious services, lectures, plays, concerts; grocery shopping; hospital discharges (Personal Touch picks patients up at the hospital after being discharged and takes them home and gets them settled in); prescription pickup; and shopping.
