Sun-soaked days and summer temperatures tend to leave a person with a craving for barbecue. With award-winning, Carolina-style barbecue from Mike’s Four Star BBQ, you’ll be left with that summertime craving all year long.
Located in the historic service station in Port Gamble, Mike’s Four Star BBQ has been a key ingredient to the town’s growth and popularity for the past eight years, filling the air with that delicious barbecue smell. Beginning with a roadside barbecue stand at the local Sunday Market, owners Mike and Stefanie Richman renovated the historic service station six years ago into a unique barbecue restaurant while keeping the automotive theme of the service station.
While dining in, you can view vintage license plates and other automotive memorabilia from all over the U.S., or take in a rejuvenating view of Port Gamble and the surrounding woodlands on the outdoor patio.
Mike’s Four Star BBQ features Carolina-style pulled pork, meaty pork spare ribs and smoked dark meat chicken quarters. The garlic Cajun sausage is handmade on site and is Mike’s own recipe. Mike has a severe gluten allergy so the restaurant has many gluten-free options. You can get french fries and potato chips that are gluten-free, fresh from the fryer.
If you are hosting a large party and don’t want to pay for onsite catering, Mike’s has you covered with party packs. The restaurant can also accommodate large groups like rehearsal dinners and other special celebrations. Visit www.mikesfourstarbbq.com/party-packs for more information.
Mike’s Four Star BBQ is open Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
