Summer events set the tone for Port Gamble | Port Gamble Gazette

Whether you’re a local or a traveler going from Seattle to the Olympic Peninsula, a latte or chai tea from Gamble Bay Coffee is a “can’t miss” stop in the North Kitsap community

Whether you’re a local or a traveler going from Seattle to the Olympic Peninsula, a latte or chai tea from Gamble Bay Coffee is a “can’t miss” stop in the North Kitsap community.

Located on Highway 104 in front of Mike’s Four Star BBQ, Gamble Bay Coffee stands to be one of the most popular places to get a great coffee or a cup of their famed Maya Chai.

Owner Lynn Wayland says “this is my first espresso stand and it’s really been a dream of mine to own on.” She added that “Port Gamble has such a wonderful atmosphere about it and is a great place for a first-time business owner.”

After many tastings, she decided to serve Poverty Bay Coffee from Federal Way.

Among the vast menu selection of great coffees and espresso flavorings, you’ll find one of Gamble Bay Coffee’s most popular items, Maya Chai. People from all of over stop there to get one of the best Chai’s around. Wayland’s enthusiasm for providing a great product spills over to each customer. “It’s been such a delight to meet people from around the world along with all of the locals over the past year. The local community has been so supportive of the business.”

If you are wondering what the espresso stand owner drinks, her go-to is the drip coffee by Poverty Bay Coffee and the occasional “Dirty Chai,” which is a Chai Tea with a shot of espresso.
