POULSBO — Nancy Williams, vice president of community relations at Cloud Services Depot, was voted one of the world’s top 150 IT influencers, or advisers, for professionals who serve small- and medium-sized businesses.
It’s the second consecutive year she was named to the list, known as the SMB 150; SMB is the abbreviation for Small Medium Business. The SMB 150 was founded by SMB Nation, provider of seminars for IT consultants; and SMB Technology Network, an association of IT providers.
Members voted on 400 nominees at www.SMB150.com.
Following the vote, a panel of industry experts evaluated each nominee based on a pre-established rubric.
“I’m thrilled to be in the company of such well-respected professionals, especially considering that I am not an IT person by trade,” Williams said. “I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with thousands of IT professional on ways to help grow their businesses and I have organized many conferences to provide an atmosphere for continued learning for them. There’s a definite sense of satisfaction in knowing that I’ve become very successful in this industry.”
Williams works for Cloud Services Depot, a Los Angeles-based company, from her home office in Poulsbo. She is an assistant coach of the Kingston High School girls soccer team.
