This Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Front Street in Poulsbo will travel back in time with its first-ever classic car and boat show.
Classic cars from as far back as the Ford Model T will line Front and Jensen streets as well as the waterfront parking lot. Vintage boats will also be docked in the Port of Poulsbo marina.
At 10 a.m. Mayor Becky Erickson will kick off the event, followed by a simultaneous horn blast, which will include not just car horns, but horns from the Viking Brass Band as well.
The show will have a 1920s theme, complete with a fashion display and contest hosted by the Poulsbo Historical Society. The top-three contestants will win prizes from local merchants.
The theme may be the 1920s, but cars and boats from any decade are welcome and owners could win prizes from local merchants, with gift certificates ranging in value from $25-$50.
The SEA Discovery Center will also be on hand with fun activities, games, and prizes for kids.
Viking Brass Band and Haus Band EPK will be playing timely tunes for everyone’s enjoyment, there will also be food and drinks provided by downtown Poulsbo vendors.
