In all the years I’ve been acquainted with Jan Angel, I’ve known her to be a woman of great integrity with a high sense of duty to her community and this state. That is why it is so difficult to reconcile the malicious and untruthful comments made about her by her opponent’s campaign with the Jan Angel I know.

Who is that woman? She is certainly not the one that many of us here in Port Orchard have known all these years. Jan is the same honest, loyal, caring and giving person who is devoted to her family and who has given her best for the citizens of this community and Washington state.

Her intelligence and diligence have served us well in her roles of Kitsap County commissioner and as a legislator in Olympia. She is very open about the legislation that she does and does not support, and some of the accusations concerning her votes are about issues that have been attached to bills that she felt were not in the best interest of the voters. Her considerable experience in the political arena certainly qualifies her to be the next Washington state senator.

Jan Angel is among the most trustworthy and capable individuals serving in the state legislature, and she deserves your vote on Tuesday!
