What a great community we live in!

I want to thank some Kingston businesses for supporting an auction fundraiser for the Bainbridge Chorale which was held at My Girl Drive-in and Museum last weekend.  Although the 90-member community chorale is home-based on Bainbridge, many of us live in the north end of Kitsap.

We really showcased our community with Little City Catering doing the food; Ross McCurdy (Oak Table Cafe), our auctioneer; and Fred “The DJ Guy” Pinnard.

Local donations were made by the Main Street Ale House, Bella Luna Pizzeria, Exquisite Gift Baskets, Nancy’s Green Garden, Firehouse Theater, Oak Table Cafe, Cup o’ Muffin, the Coffee Exchange, Kingston Crossing Wellness Center (Sara Foster, MA, LMP),  Albertson’s,  Italian Inspirations by Ashley Redfern, Little City Catering, Liberty Bay Auto Center, Starbucks Coffee, and Pierside Promotions.

Many of my Taree neighbors also attended this event, called “Blast from the Past” — and that’s what it was, a blast!

Thank you to all on behalf of the Bainbridge Chorale.  We had a stronger presence than the Bainbridge businesses! I’m so glad this is my home!
