After reading the Indepen-dent’s Sept. 25 interview with Councilman Fred Chang and Amy Igloi-Matsuno (“Chang, Igloi-Matsuno state their respective cases”), there are a few errors I would like to correct.
Wet Apple Media is a marketing and publishing company.
In addition to producing the Kitsap Peninsula Business Journal and WestSound Home & Garden magazine, we are graphic and web designers.
From concept to completion, we are employed for product and service rollouts, political campaigns, logo and business collateral, strategic positioning … anything a company might need.
It’s campaign season right now, and we have been hired to produce materials for City Council members Rob Putansuu and Carolyn Powers, as well as candidate Amy Igloi-Matsuno.
Two years ago, we also designed materials for State Rep. Jan Angel, and City Council members John Clauson and Jim Colebank, and others.
It’s simply one-stop shopping — signs, web, photography, slim jims, brochures, ads, etc.
When questioned about his statement that everyone knew Mayor Lary Coppola supported Amy, Chang said he didn’t see Wet Apple billing on Amy’s PDC report, so he assumed the mayor supported her.
As he is now aware, it is customary in business practices to invoice when the job is completed.
At this point we have not completed the campaign materials; when we are finished, Amy will be billed.
I hope this clears any confusion.
