Have you been there? Have you visited the waterfront?

Have you been to the Farmer’s Market where they have the freshest fish in town amidst the flowers, crafts and sunshine and water?

People pay thousands of dollars to visit the vistas found here.

Almost everything is within walking distance, from the downtown shops and boats to the Library.

Recently I paid a visit to the local candy store. Sweet enchantment and aroma had the kids giggling.

I almost thought I saw Charlie there.

Then off to the library, where the kids play with the stuffed hand puppets while others are choosing books or attending story reading sessions.

Oh, I’ll never have to buy a book again. All this is free.

And I picked up a few videos, too

Off to watch the people calling to the seagulls. Competition was keen and creative.

What a spectacle.

All this on a day that was extremely inexpensive and dear.

Only in Port Orchard.
