Thank you, plant lovers of Poulsbo, for making the Poulsbo Garden Club’s May 7 plant sale a success.

We made more than $5,500, which will go back to the community through beautification projects and grants.

Mitch James and his staff at James Lumber/Ace Hardware provided our club with an ideal site on Viking Avenue. We had the visibility and space to display our hundreds of plants.

We also would like to thank Penny McLaughlin of John L. Scott for the use of her truck, Central Market for providing tote boxes, and Valley Nursey, Savage Nursery, Foxglove Nursery and Bloedel Gardens for donating some of their lovely plants for our raffle.
