Great programs, from a great group of people

How does a small, local government contribute to building a safe, democratic, broadly-based community? What brings people together and strengthens our sense of interconnection? One local example is the City of Poulsbo Parks and Recreation Department.

How does a small, local government contribute to building a safe, democratic, broadly-based community? What brings people together and strengthens our sense of interconnection?

One local example is the City of Poulsbo Parks and Recreation Department, which offers hundreds of programs annually — programs for all ages, for family fun, physical health, music, dance, language — too numerous to list, but you can see it all in the Activity Guide you receive.

We are fortunate to have a wealth of talented people in North Kitsap who want to share their talents and contribute to the vitality of our area.

The Activity Guide is coordinated and produced by a dynamic group of people: Mary McCluskey, Pat Hightower, Joe Schiel, Kris Goodfellow, Amy McCollum, Pam Raymond, Faye Peaslee, Debbie Deboodt and Jami Silpa — on budget, on time. Their dedication is ultimately what makes it happen for our benefit.

Our government at work. Great job and thank you.

P.S. Please remember to shop locally!
