On behalf of the volunteer AARP Tax Aid crew, I would like to thank Martha & Mary and its staff for sponsoring our program. They graciously provided us with not only the space to operate but the support of its outstanding staff. The scheduling by administrative assistant, Mary Hardy, forced the Martha & Mary staff to relocate their training meetings but allowed us to provide a very valuable service to 522 family units from our community. The front desk staff (Jan, Mary Beth and the whole crew) handled many calls from the community inquiring about our services. Martha & Mary’s chaplain encouraged us to use his facility to handle the overflow waiting lines. Thank you for supporting us in our efforts to serve the community.

We estimate that we saved the families we served in excess of $50,000 in fees and were able to pump $506,836 in refunds into the economy of our community because of Martha & Mary’s continued support of our program.
