It is with a great deal of pleasure that I write this letter as an endorsement of my friend and colleague, Gillian Gregory for North Kitsap Fire and Rescue Commissioner. During her 14-year term, Gregory has helped to merge the smaller districts in North Kitsap into one viable and responsive team. Include that with the fiduciary responsibility she assumes to make sure all our firefighters and medics have the appropriate supplies to keep our constituents safe and there is no doubt she should be reelected. Her ties to the North Kitsap community are vast and she is well respected wherever she speaks. To watch her chair our commissioners meetings or ask the pertinent questions after staff presentations is truly a reflection in democracy. She believes in having strong ties between the fire district and community including the five schools residing within the boundries of NKF&R. I would urge you to vote to return Gregory as she advocates for safe schools, safe households, safe businesses and safe communities.
