American Hero Quilts recently raised $3,000 with a garage sale held in Poulsbo at the Northwest Design Center. American Hero Quilts makes red, white and blue 60-by-80 quilts and send them to Afghanistan to give a hug to the men and women who are severely injured.

We are still in need of donations. Each quilt costs $300 to $350 and we send 100 a month, plus send the same to Madigan Wounded Warriors.
