Seeing the recent announcement for the Festival of Chimes and Lights in downtown Port Orchard, reminded me of how disappointed I am.

I recently learned that a local Christian church choir was asked not to participate in the future.

Their crime was including a few Christian songs with their renditions of holiday favorites.

It saddens me to think that Port Orchard leaders have forgotten the religious freedoms our great country is based on.
