Why are Republicans saying “Don’t buy GM or Chrysler Cars?”
How un-American can you get?
I haven’t heard Republicans advocating a boycott of Wall Street companies that took bailout cash? What say we boycott companies that took that money? Let’s dump Chase, J. P. Morgan, AIG, the sub-prime mortgage companies, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and those Wall Street Companies bailed out by the Bush Administration because “they’re too big to allow to fail”.
Any company that is “too big to fail” is a monopoly and should be split-up like the old Bell Company. If it’s time to let GM and Chrysler fail, then it’s time to split up all the monopolies that are “too big to fail.” Better yet, let ‘em suffer that same fate Republicans want for GM and Chrysler.
In fact, let the Republican Party suffer the same fate they are advocating for GM and Chrysler. After all, they’re out of touch with the people, they’ve become irrelevant, they have nothing to offer a suffering America except to say “no” to any idea that could put us back into play as a nation. Let ‘em go the way of the Dodo Bird.
