Senior center breaks ground soon

When our new Village Green is built, we will be welcoming seniors 50 and older to our new facility with open arms and many activities for this younger group of people. Please keep this in mind or on your calendar for our grand opening at Village Green.

An anonymous Christmas gift enabled Kingston Super Seniors to celebrate Christmas at the White Horse Golf Club on Dec. 10.

Thirty-two members were met at the entryway and ushered into the dining area where they sat in comfort, viewing the lovely rolling lawn of the golf course.

The ambiance was festive with a faint musical background. Each guest was treated to a box of Frango mints. Friendly socializing and smiling faces were abound.

In addition to this surprising and welcome gift, we have another donor that donates annually to our membership so we can have a monthly catered luncheon in the sorely worn senior center. Kingston Rotary members enhance our meager treasury (our members pay dues of $5 a year).

We will be breaking ground in April 2015, and welcome donations of any amount for this historical accomplishment in Kingston.
