Over the 22 years as a commissioner for the Port of Bremerton, I have not endorsed anyone running for public office. This year, I am making an exception and am endorsing Jack Edwards.

Because of Jack’s background and public experience, I feel he is the best qualified to become your next port commissioner. I am not saying his opponent is not qualified; I am saying Jack is the most qualified.

I know Edwards is being outspent, has less signs littering our streets and does not have deep pockets behind him. I am voting for Jack Edwards and hope the port commissioner’s job goes to the best qualified and not the highest bidder.
