I endorsed Linda Streissguth several months ago because I knew with certainty that she has what it takes to be a county commissioner.

I stated at the time, “I have been watching Linda’s performance since she was appointed to the vacancy on the board of commissioners last January. She has done a fantastic job and has hit the ground running. Kitsap is lucky to have her – she is a quick study and will continue to advocate for our priorities.”

I remain solidly committed to my statement, and know that in less than one year on the job, Linda has made significant improvements to the way things work at the County.

She has had a direct impact on reducing red-tape in the Department of Community Development for example, and is working with community members on updating the county’s road map for the growth – the comprehensive plan.

I know Linda Streissguth will continue to work tirelessly for all of the residents in the county when elected on Nov. 4.  I urge your unwavering support and your vote for Linda.
