I am Rob MacDermid’s ex-wife, and strongly endorse and support him for Kitsap County Superior Court judge.
Although we parted ways as marriage partners, we have maintained a wonderful friendship for us and for our 28-year-old daughter, Lindsay (MacDermid) Weaber. In addition, we continue to support one another in our individual endeavors, and that’s why I’ve chosen to serve as a co-chair for his campaign.
I have known Rob for over 35 years, and believe he is the best candidate. Rob is a man of integrity, compassion and fairness. He has been very committed to serving the residents of Kitsap County for over 30 years, not only in his capacity as a lawyer, pro-tem judge and arbitrator, but also as a volunteer to ensure that individuals, including adults and children, are afforded opportunities to learn and grow.
In one volunteer endeavor, when a Central Kitsap School District levy was defeated in the 1990s and program funding was cut, Rob stepped up to teach a Venture class on government, history and the law. This class was taught over a period of several months and included student field trips to the Kitsap County Courthouse in Port Orchard, and the Washington State Capitol and Supreme Court in Olympia.
When you receive your ballot this month, I highly encourage you to cast your vote for Rob MacDermid for Kitsap County Superior Court judge. Thank you.
