I have been meaning for some time to write this letter of appreciation to the Port Orchard Independent for continuing to produce an informative and interesting weekly newspaper.

I enjoy the in-depth information given in a variety of articles as well as the growing list of community events and activities showing what an active and productive community we really are.

And, who doesn’t love those color photos? I am particularly a big fan of those.

Thank you to the editor and staff of the Independent for developing a great community newspaper.
