In response to the story, “City approves pay hikes for police, local,” page A1, Dec. 4 Herald:

I do believe some people deserve a raise at Poulsbo City Hall, but — holy cow! — the people’s last names in Poulsbo is not Gates.

I hope the City Council will not come out now and want a rate hike of some kind. My oh my.
