Angeline Park is a triangular pocket park in Suquamish. Because of ever-shrinking county budgets, volunteers have taken over care of the park. The Suquamish Garden Club, the Suquamish Tribe, Kitsap Community Foundation, businesses, donors and volunteers have worked to clean up and replant the park, add a walkway and playground equipment, as well as fund and install three carved cedar panels depicting the life of Angeline, Chief Seattle’s daughter.

We would like to thank the youth and adult mentors of the North Kitsap Baptist Church under the direction of Youth Pastor Duncan Forbes. For several years, they have donated their Saturdays, equipment, trucks, labor, good humor and time to help out.

The neighborhood volunteers, the children and families of Suquamish appreciate the extraordinary gift they have been given, and continue to make this park a welcome retreat for us all.
