Education in the state of Washington is in a state of change.

• The Washington State Supreme Court has ruled in the McCleary decision that the state is not properly funding education.

• The State Supreme Court has ruled that Charter schools are unconstitutional.

• The new High Stakes Testing (SBAC) will directly affect our students’ futures.

Our local school boards are the first line of defense in protecting our children and ensuring that they get the best education we can give to them.
