It’s official: The signs are up and the mailer has been sent!
Here we go embarking on the second waste of tax money for the benefit of fish over humans — the closure of West Kingston Road for a perfectly working culvert for fish that are not there.
We have a nine-month interruption to our daily lives to look forward to. Two separate school years at a greater fuel expense for the buses.
Just to go get your mail now means a circuitous route that will involve having to deal with the ferry traffic and everyone else being misdirected to avoid this. But it’s being paid for by the U.S. Navy. How is the Navy funded? Taxes! We get to pay for it!
I guess road trips away from North Kitsap are in order to avoid the disruption and frustration.
