I am not sure whether David Simpson realizes that a majority voted for Obama for President and for his health care agenda. The people I know support universal health care, Medicare, and Social Security. Most, if not all industrialized nations have these programs and their economies are probably as capitalistic as that of the United States.

I do have one question for Mr. Simpson: What does he mean by the “real American man refuses to grovel before any other man or the state?” What does that have to do with the new health care law? Who are these real American men? Do my friends and I belong (I am talking of men only, of course), although we support a government sponsored health care system for all?
