I am endorsing Tracy Flood for Kitsap County District Court Position 1 not because she is an African American but because of her diverse work experience. Kitsap County needs a judge with the skills and ability to understand our unique multi-cultural, diverse nationality and financially challenged community.
Tracy Flood has served in active duty in the United States Navy and the reserves for eight years; worked in the Department of Assigned Counsel on felony cases; worked in a private firm, Crawford, McGilliard, Peterson and Yelish; mentored youth; served on the board of the Kitsap County YWCA; volunteers with hospice; served on Kitsap County Domestic Violence Task Force served as Protem Judge in Kitsap, King and Port Orchard Municipal courts; and served as Protem Judge in the State Office of Administrative Hearing Court for child support cases.
In addition, Tracy ran her own law firm for seven years focusing on family law, criminal misdemeanors, personal injury, wills and collections. Currently she holds a position at the Washington State Bar Association as a Mentorship Workgroup Co-Chair and U.S. Department of Labor as a Specialized Examiner.
Because of her experience Tracy will issue sound and timely decisions determined by findings of facts and conclusion of law ensuring fairness for all parties and due processes. Your choice in this election is a candidate with 17 years as a prosecutor or Tracy Flood, an attorney with numerous judicial experience which include serving as a protem judge.
Tracy is the people’s choice for the people’s court. She has had numerous jobs, contributed and volunteers in our community. My vote is for Tracy Flood. Who will you vote for?
