Betty Widman of Port Orchard, daughter of Barney and Pearl Johnson, passed away Feb. 15.

She has one sister, Charlotte Hahn. The family moved to Port Orchard and homesteaded 10 acres of property when she was four years old. She lived on the property for the remainder of her life.

Betty loved to cook, do crafts, decorate cakes and sew.

She is survived by her sister Charlotte of Port Orchard; her son John Gallegos (Brenda) of Belfair; her daughter DeLores Magneson of Port Orchard; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial service are set for 2 p.m. on March 11 at Port Orchard Church of Christ, 2585 Carr Lane SE, Port Orchard. Funeral arrangement are being made by Tuell McKee.
