Eglon festivities liven up North End hamlet

Christmas bazaar & bake sale

The annual Eglon Old-Fashioned Christmas Bazaar and Holiday Bake Sale warms up the historic schoolhouse on Eglon Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The event features local artwork, handcrafted items, holiday greenery and lots of homemade baked goods.

Enjoy coffee and hot cinnamon rolls while visiting with neighbors and friends. Contributions of baked items for the sale are appreciated, delivered before 9 a.m.

Community Christmas show

The traditional Eglon Community Christmas Program will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 in the Eglon Schoolhouse. The children will have a memorable play for all to enjoy, which will be followed by some joyous holiday carols and a special visit by Santa.

(Shh … please bring a small holiday gift for each child, wrapped and clearly marked with a first and last name to help Santa out during this very busy time of year.)

This is a memorable evening for children and adults alike. Plan to stay and enjoy holiday treats, punch, coffee and neighborly conversations. Children are welcome to decorate and be in the play.
