The Kitsap Arts and Crafts Festival turns 50 this year. It’s also the first year that the arts and crafts action will be centered in downtown Kingston.
The town is abuzz with excitement as the Kingston Art Gallery lends its space and expertise and other local businesses plan special hours for the occasion.
What’s Up is carrying a special four-page Kitsap Arts and Crafts pull-out program in the middle of today’s edition to help celebrate in style. Find more at www.kitsapartsandcrafts.com.
And speaking of style — also this weekend, along the Port Orchard waterfront — the Kitsap Mustang Club hosts its 21st annual Mustangs-only car show — Mustangs on the Waterfront — starting at 10 a.m. Sunday. Up to 200 ’Stangs are expected at the event. All Mustangs are welcome. $15 entry fee. Free for spectators.
