Find a good read at Stillwaters book sale

Stillwaters Environmental Education Center in Kingston welcomes donations of new and used books for its upcoming annual book sale taking place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays Sept. 5-28.

Stillwaters Environmental Education Center in Kingston welcomes donations of new and used books for its upcoming annual book sale taking place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays through Sundays Sept. 5-28.

The sale offers up to 20,000 new and used books covering all subjects and most are priced at $1 or less. Bag Day is Sept. 28 when books will be sold for $5 per bag.

The native plant nursery will be open for selected plant sales 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 200 and 21. Native plant experts will be on hand to give advice. Some of the plants available, priced $5 to $25, will include: crabapple, madrona, mock orange, currant, spirea, ninebark, snowberry, kinnikinnick, salal, and ferns, maples, firs, cedars, spruce and pines of several varieties.

Book donations may be dropped off at Stillwaters, located at 26059 Barber Cut Off Road. Leave them on the Tree House porch or call to arrange pick up. (Encyclopedias and Reader’s Digest volumes are not accepted.)
