The Mountaineers Players perform at the outdoor Kitsap Forest Theater and this year, the season includes Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” and Arne Zaslove’s rock-and-roll “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
”Beauty and the Beast” will be performed May 25, 26, 31 and June 1, 7, 8, 14, 15. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” runs: Aug. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24.
All performances begin at 2 p.m.
In addition to the stage shows, The Mountaineers Players offer two sessions of theater camp July 7-11 and July 14-18, for young actors ages 9-14 at Forest Theater.
Workshop cover acting, stage combat, singing, and dancing. Week 1 will focus on “Peter Pan.” Week 2 will focus on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Scholarships are available. For details, contact youthprogram@foresttheater.com or call (360) 297-5385.
