Holidays out the road in Hansville

For the first time, Hansville will have its own community holiday tree, which will be lit up at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Hansville Community Church. Children and teachers from Hansville Cooperative Preschool came up with the idea for a community tree, which was donated by Big Maple Tree Farm of Hansville.

The event includes holiday caroling and hot cocoa.

A Christmas Open House offers the opportunity to tour six beautifully decorated homes in the Hansville Area including the Milky Way Guest House and the Point No Point Lighthouse duplex from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 12. Tickets for this annual event organized by the Hansville Ladies Aid are $10 available at the Hansville store or from any Ladies Aid member. Proceeds benefit upkeep of the Hansville Cemetery and provide help to Hansville residents in need. Call Jenny at (360) 638-2062 for more information.

Hansville’s Annual Children’s Christmas Party gets underway at 7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Greater Hansville Community Center in Buck Lake County Park off Buck Lake Road.

Puppets Please will be starting at 7:15 p.m.

A concert with The Home Town Band takes place at 2 p.m. Dec. 21 in the Greater Hansville Community Center in Buck Lake County Park off Buck Lake Road.
