Two of Bremerton’s historic theaters will be alive and rocking with music from the ’70s and ’80s on New Year’s Eve.
Here are the details:
Nite At The Roxy New Year’s Eve
270 4th St., Bremerton
Starting at 8 p.m.
Tickets: $50-$250
At the Historic Roxy Theatre, some of the original members of the influential and popular rock band Heart — which formed in Bellevue in the 1960s — will appear on stage beginning at 10:30 p.m. But the party will get started with DJ Joe Frank at Quincy Square from 7-9 p.m., followed by Joey James Dean and Bootlegs from 9-10 p.m. Doors to the Roxy will open at 8 p.m.
The reincarnation of the band, named Heart by Heart, features original members Steve Fossen and Michael Derosier. The band will play songs made popular by Heart.
The event is a fundraiser for the theater. Tickets are priced at $50-$250 and are available from the Historic Roxy Theatre website: roxytheatrebremerton.thundertix.com/events/191908.

Admiral Theatre
515 Pacific Ave., Bremerton
Starting at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets: $25 (including fees). Upper balcony $25, Balcony $30, Loge $40 and Main Floor $65
Advertised as Kitsap’s biggest New Year’s Eve party, the event at the Admiral Theatre will feature two live bands — the ’80s pop band The Aqua-Nets will play favorite hits of that decade; and ’70s band “yacht rock sensations” Sunset Grooves will also appear on stage.
Tickets priced at $25-$65 are available for purchase from the theater’s website: admiraltheatre.org.
Partygoers are reminded that they will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entrance to both events.
