This week’s poem is by Mike Dillon of Indianola and was originally published in his 2008 book of poetry, “That Which We Have Named.” It is his second published book of poetry.
REDEVELOPMENT
The right to let your rotten dory
roped to a rotten piling
float just beneath the surface
below the noon day sun
like a not quite abandoned prayer
till Kingdom Come
seemed inalienable once.
