• Kingston Arts Fair, July 28-30, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. This event takes place on the lawn and in the lobby of the Village GreenCommunity Center, 26159 Dulay Road NE, Kingston. Bring the family to the 58th Annual Kingston Arts Festival, located at the Village Green Community Center. Explore art and artisan crafts booths, Juried and Student Art Shows (displayed inside the Community Center), local food vendors, music, kid’s corner and beer garden for adults. Free. • Silverdale Whaling Days, July 28-30, Begins at 5 p.m. on July 28 at the Silverdale Waterfront Park in Old Town Silverdale. Fireworks, beer and wine garden, live entertainment, carnival rides, food vendors, street fair and much, much more. • Tall Ships Visit Port Orchard, July 24 to July 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the Port Orchard Marina, 707 Sidney Parkway, Port Orchard. The tall ships Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain are returning to Port Orchard. Daily programs include our popular Adventure Sails, Battle Sails, or free dockside tours. Help us pull line and sing shanties like real 18th century sailors! Presented by Grays Harbor Historical Seaport.

• Grandparents U: Aug. 1-3, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at SEA Discovery Center, 18743 Front Street NE, Poulsbo. Create memories to last a lifetime during this unique intergenerational program for grandparents and grandchildren ages 7-14.
